THE SWEEPSTAKES OR TO WIN A PRIZE.

(1) Description of Sweepstakes:

The Hass Avocado Board (the "Sponsor") is offering the "Big Game Sweepstakes" (the "Sweepstakes") and will award prizes via a random drawing from valid eligible entrants. The Sweepstakes begins at 6:00:01 AM Pacific Time (PT) January 7, 2010 and ends February 8, 2010 at 5:59:59 PM PT, ("Sweepstakes Period").

(2) How to Enter: No Purchase Necessary.

Visit biggame.avocadocentral.com and complete the registration form with your first name, last name, street address, (no PO Boxes), city, state, ZIP code, telephone number and e-mail address. You will be given the opportunity to receive mobile messaging from the Sponsor, however, opting to receive mobile messaging is NOT a requirement for Sweepstakes entry, nor does it increase your chances of winning. You will be given the opportunity to subscribe to the monthly e-mail recipe newsletter, however, subscribing to the monthly e-mail recipe newsletter is NOT a requirement for Sweepstakes entry, nor does it increase your chances of winning. By opting in for mobile messaging, or subscribing to the monthly e-mail recipe newsletter, entrants understand their entry information will be used by the Sponsor for subsequent marketing and communication efforts. There is a limit of one (1) original entry per person.

(3) Eligibility:

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. If the age of majority in your jurisdiction is older than 18, you must be the age of majority in your jurisdiction to be eligible. Employees, officers and representatives (and members of their immediate families and those living in the same household of each) of the Hass Avocado Board, its affiliated boards/commission, companies, and advertising and promotion agencies, and any other company involved in the design, execution or production of this Sweepstakes are not eligible.

Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same e-mail address. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different/duplicitous e-mail addresses, the use of a sweepstakes service, the use of multiple identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's entries and that entrant may be disqualified.

(4) Prizes: Grand Prize - One (1) verified winner will receive a $500 Grocery Gift Card from the grocery retailer of the verified winner's choice, Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"), $500. First Prize - Ten (10) verified winners will each receive a football autographed by Joe Montana, ARV $70. There are a total of eleven (11) prizes with a total ARV of $1,200. The odds of winning depend upon the number of valid eligible entries received.

(5) General:

A random drawing will be conducted on or about February 19, 2010 and winners will be contacted within five (5) business days of the drawing. Winners will be notified by phone, mail or e-mail to confirm acceptance of the prize and to verify the shipping address for the prize. Each potential winner must respond within five (5) days of first attempted notification or at Sponsor's discretion he/she will be disqualified and an alternate winner selected. Return of prize notification to Sponsor as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. ALL TAXES ON THE PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

By accepting a prize, winners agree to allow use of his or her name, location (city only), voice, statements, and/or photo for advertising this or similar promotions without limitation and without compensation, except where prohibited. Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable and there are no cash substitutions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decision of the Sponsor as final in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind, including without limitation, server malfunction, and virus distribution or by a human error which may occur in the process of recording on-line entries at the web page. Sponsor is not responsible for any damage to an entrant's computer hardware or software that may occur as a result of entrant participating in the Sweepstakes. Any attempt by an entrant to interfere with the operations of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws; Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an on line entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account. If, in Sponsor's opinion, there is any suspected or actual tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if technical or other difficulties outside of Sponsor's control compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the Sweepstakes and in such event to select winners through a random drawing from among all eligible entries received before such termination. All entries are the property of the Sponsor.

(6) Release: BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, PARTICIPANTS RELEASE AND HOLD THE HASS AVOCADO BOARD, THE CALIFORNIA AVOCADO COMMISSION, AND THEIR EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES, HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES OR RESULTING FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF, OR DEFECTS IN, A PRIZE, OR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION CLAIMS BASED ON PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY LOSS OR DAMAGE, PUBLICITY OR PRIVACY RIGHTS, AND/OR DEFAMATION.

(7) Winners List Request:

Confirmed winners will be announced at biggame.avocadocentral.com approximately four (4) weeks after the end of the Sweepstakes. To obtain a list of all winners by mail, send a self addressed, stamped envelope: to Hass Avocado Board Big Game Winners List Request, PO Box 12055, Scottsdale, AZ 85267-2487 postmarked by February 19, 2010.
